I want to be a teacher one day. To show a new generation that mannerism and sincere generosity still exists. I believe the world after my generation has officially gone down hill. Although, every generation says this I truly think what I'm saying could be a fact. To be honest I think Im no better. I attended probably one of the worst MPS schools in history. It was charter school that I went to since I was four to seventeen years old. I lacked social skills because of how tiny my classes were and saw the same people every year, my school's faculty also didnt pay any attention to you unless you were a class-clown or show off. Its strange because you'd think everyone would get the right amount of attention considering how small our school really was. You cant not know someones personality there. Anyways, after graduating I realized how fundamentally screwed I am for college. I went to a low-graded college for an associates and now I dropped out because I realized I had so much more potential than that and it was a commercial school, only out for your money.
With that being said I had to learn on my own my true worth and where I stand in this large world. My school never cared to enforce the importance of being prepared for college until half way into the school semester. They screwed me over because I couldn't help that my school (take in mind i was there since I was four.) lacked the tools and skills to put me where an average mind is.
I plan on going back to college now, to practically relearn everything I should've known instinctivly and then teach it the *right* way to students. I refuse to let anyone forget the importance of education. I feel like no child should ever go through what I went through. True , theres a slim chance of a school doing that anymore with primary schooling, but I refuse to risk that chance.
I also feel life is about helping others grow in some way or another in a positive aspect. I don't feel I'd be good at anything but school as well since its all I've ever really known.
I am twenty years old, off to a bad start but I refuse to let it bring me down for the rest of my life.
I might have to go to school part - time now because I'm too old to live with my parents and I currently am taking a year off to work full-time to pay back my other school as much as I possibly can before I start somewhere else. Once I go back though I hopefully should be able to have my own place, and privacy and a quiet environment so I can finally concentrate and get back on track.
Besides if I rush and try to just get past all the b.s. classes just to become a teacher I don't think I'd be a very good one. I also think I might do teaching as a major and psychology as a minor for my own sanity and to grasp a real understanding on how other minds work and stuff... because I'm sort of delusional and focus on myself more than others. If I do this I'd say its a perfect combination.

Before establishing myself career-wise, I volunteered for the Peace Corps in the francophone nations of Africa. I then moved to Chicago in order to take advantage of a job offer with a well-established gallery. The gallery was kind enough to contribute to my graduate school education in Art History. Having established myself as hardworking and invested, I found a job with the Contemporary Art Museum and began to work towards a chief curatorial position. I have since completed a PhD in Art History and have published several articles in scholarly journals on Baroque Art, Art Nouveau, and Contemporary Photography. I have helped build relationships with other organizations similar to the Contemp Museum in France and England, finding myself travelling to Europe often. I am not married, but in a long-term relationship with a man in my field I met while in London. I have maintained a few relationships from college and even one or two from my high school years, surrounding myself with an eclectic collection of friends and family. But most of all, I am happy :)

A while ago, my nest friend told me that he was going through a bout of depression. I was very worried because he had gone away to university and I couldn't be with him because I had a full time job. I spoke to him on skype tonight after he told his mum and he told me he has decided to drop out of this year and go back next year. I havn't felt a bigger sense of relief in my life. it is so nice to finaly be settled into our own house the new furnature is perfect me and the wife both love the lay out and floor plan and colour scheem. its nice that we are financially secure now and have residual income comming in almost weekly between her avon and my promotion at work we have a comfortable secure life she could probably quit her nine to 5 job is she wanted to but with her success there i dont see why she would . the kid is doing well in school and her trust fund is growing nicely. and our trip to disney land last summer was a blast the picture of the girls dressed as disney princesses is so cute
