I love him, and he loves me. We are stronger than we have ever been, and I have found patience, sheer, true, patience. I am utterly grateful for everything in my life, and I am finally whole enough to have the confidence to write. I love you, in your entirety, for everything you are and everything you are not. And I no longer need to hear you say it back. I am no longer riddled with the guilt of leaving a lover, nor am I frightened that I shall become either parent. My creative design business is flourishing because it helps people make and have beautiful things for little money, and is not plastic junk. It employs my out of work friends and family. The toy theaters we manufacture are in almost every hospital in this country, and is being exported. My CafePress store got discovered by a department store selling decorated items with my photography and art. I have a popular rubber stamp set in the craft stores. I can visit home when I wish, and go overseas once a year. My family and I are healthy and happy with all this good work.

We sat on the beach in the morning and ate some chocolate. the beach was coming awake but there were only a few people scattered about at a distance that time in the morning. He told me more stories of his experience in the war. I was able to give him another much needed perspective which he was able to accept. Deep down, he already knew it. He reached for my hand and then he looked at me for a long time. It was amazing. ..."you really want me as your husband??" he said.getting slightly teary eyed, I smiled. He said," how??, How would I do this??" I gently said " that's the easy part baby.. we just keep doing what we've been doin.." He looked out over the ocean and horizon. I joined him there. ...I let it be.. after a few moments,I lied back on the blanket to gaze up in the softest bluest open sky and he turned around and looked at me and came down and snuggled up to me. we lied there and closed our eyes and breathed deep in the fresh ocean air. feelin that feeling and hugging.. and then kissing that soft way we kiss when things feel so deep, kinda spiritual. we drifted in and out of the most peaceful rest and the beach stayed ours for quite some time. when we woke up there were a handful more beach goers, and we decided to go back to the house to nap. and we did. and when we woke, he looked at me long, the way he does and he kissed me hard and pulled me tight. I felt his love so unbelievably. I was certain of it now and it felt like it was now only a matter of short time before we figured it out. how we would spend our life together. I felt him feel that he wanted it too and it was the best feeling I ever had in my entire life..
