He realized that going back to her and sticking it out was not really what he wanted, but rather, what he thought he had to do for the sake of his child. Although leaving her again was harder than anything else he ever had to do, he understood that life with me was his true destiny. We compliment one another in ways we never knew existed. We talk as if years have not passed, as if we had been together, laughing and living, every moment together. We make each other happy, and his son benefits from the fact that his father is truly content.
